The Female Throwback Jam of 3/14/09 comes to us from Aaliyah. her single "The One I Gave My Heart To," showed us that Aaliyah could definitely carry a heartfelt ballad and make it something special. It eventually peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 97/98. It was also released with the A-side single "Hot Like Fire," an up-tempo club jam.
