Drake Cuts Meet & Greets From Tour

Is Drake following in the footsteps of fellow Canadian entertainer and friend Justin Bieber? Yes and no.

Similarly, Drake is no longer doing fan meet and greets for his Summer Sixteen tour this summer.

According to PEOPLE, the “Headlines” singer-rapper, “canceled all of his fan VIP packages for the tour.” Packages which sold for up to $1,000 are receiving a $300 refund per package.

No word if Drizzy changed his mind about doing fan meet and greets in light of the the recent death of YouTube sensation turned The Voice contestant Christina Grimmie, June 10. "Scheduling issues,” has been reported as the reason for the cancelations.

Fans will still be able to share One Dance with Drake as he and Future are set to begin lighting up the stage for their Summer Sixteen Tour. The tour kicks of July 20, at Austin’s Frank Erwin Center and arrives for a three night residency at the Staples Center September 7, 9, and 10.

So while you won’t get to get up close and personal with Drake this summer, his tour with Future remains, you will still be able to Find Your Love and fix of Drizzy at one of 2016's biggest lineups.

Iggy Azalea’s “Team,” Less One Man

Saying 2016 has not been so great for Iggy Azalea might be the understatement of the year! 

First in January, her buzz single “Azillion” created little to no positive buzz for her comeback album. Later during Spring, her Los Angeles Lakers fiancé, Nick “Swaggy P” Young, made news for admitting to cheating on Iggy via a leaked video filmed by teammate D’Angelo Russell.

The video became public knowledge at a terrible time for Iggy Azalea, when she had to do many promotional appearances for her newly released single, “Team."

Striding on like a trooper, Iggy continued to promote her official first single “Team” from her upcoming sophomore album, Digital Distortion. Sadly the single didn’t perform as well as her Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 predecessors, despite Azalea's promo campaign, which included high profile visits to Ellen DeGenres and Jimmy Fallon's talk shows.

The icing on a not so tasty wedding cake, Azalea just announced she and Swaggy P have officially split. The news comes nearly a year after she announced her engagement to the famous baller.

Iggy went on to write on Instagram stating, “although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him - it’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to.” Young simply took to Twitter to post “single."

If there is any blessing within this breakup, perhaps it will provide great ideas and content for the still release date-awaiting Digital Distortion LP, due out this year.

Single Review: J.Lo Empowers Ladies on "Ain't Your Mama"

Fans were elated when it was announced Jennifer Lopez was returning to her Urban music roots for her 2014 album A.K.A. Sadly the album wasn’t as successful or notable in comparison to early J.Lo music.

Cue 2016, “Ain’t Your Mama,” is that sound and style A.K.A. perhaps was missing. The Meghan Trainor cowritten jam is an uptempo R&B tune, thats super sassy, and has a catchy club ready beat courtesy of Dr. Luke.

This is NOT Going To Be Bigger Than... Taco Bell! | Quesalupa Review

Note: It doesn't look anything like that, shell/cheese wise.

Recently Taco Bell began promoting about their top secret new promotional item. Well it was revealed and it was what everybody had expected. Taco Bell combined one of their classic Chalupas along with a if you can call it that quesadilla. They dubbed it the Quesalupa. Get it Quesadilla+Chalupa and you get...well you get it by now. Promoting it as an item that would be bigger than Tinder, drones, and hover boards.

No, no, and no. Taco Bell this item will not be a bigger success than those items. The Doritos Loco Taco was massive, yes.  But this new Quesalupa doesn't even compare to that.

After all of the hype, I tried the Quesalupa today, and I made sure to eat it fresh.  What it tasted like was a standard Chalupa from Taco Bell with a bottom, soggy (due to the cheese) shell.  No, it wasn't as gooey or cheesy as the commercial shows it. I wasn't even certain cheese went up the side of it.  It seemed to only remain at the bottom.

In short, if you like cheese and your Chalupas from Taco Bell rather soggy, I prefer mine fresh out of the frier personally, you may like this item. Although for the hype and the buzz... good marketing Taco Bell. Poor product.

Instead, why don't we bring back an amazing item from the mid 2000s, like the Grilled Stuft Fajita Burrito. Now that is an item I have missed since my days working at Taco Bell as a teen :)

dumblonde: The Dream Is Never Done

This is a review I wrote back in July 2015 after dumblonde released 5 songs from their debut album, effectively an EP in length, prior to their full length studio album.

After months and months of speculation, teases, and promises, the Alternative Dance/Pop duo Dumblonde (stylized as dumblonde) has finally delivered music.  Now the question, was it worth the wait?  First lets introduce those who may not know who or what exactly Dumblonde is.

Dumblonde consists of two former Danity Kane members, yes the same five piece girl group who began to dismantle on national television in 2008 and eventually broke up; and then reunite in 2013 as a quartet only to breakup yet again in 2014.  A Messy run to say the least!  Shannon Bex and Aubrey O’Day have come together as Dumblonde to make sure their dream is never done!  This time around Bex and O’Day have complete control over their sound, image, stage show, etc. which is something being on Bad Boy with Danity Kane didn’t allow them.

The biggest breakout star from 2015, seemingly new to many, isn’t new at the very least.  Long before The Weeknd was blowing up the charts alongside Ariana Grande (2014’s “Love Me Harder,”) and before assisting the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack with eventual album cut “Earned It,” he was releasing various bodies of music for fans. 2015 just so happens to be the year the mainstream public decided to take notice when The Weeknd released his sophomore album, Beauty Behind The Madness.

Choice words echoed by Adele on her aptly titled 2015 comeback single “Hello.” Released nearly 5 years since Adele's last studio album 21, the world said hello back!  To no surprise, the haunting lead single “Hello” shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, and quickly became another Adele classic, joining the likes of #1s “Rolling In The Deep,” and “Set Fire To The Rain.”  Already off to an extraordinary start, would 25 join the ranks of prior albums 19 and 21?

REVIEW: Danity Kane 'DK3' Snippets & Review

Finally after the drama which the world saw after the DK4 reunion back in 2013 which was officially confirmed at the 2013 MTV VMA's, a lot has happened to girl group Danity Kane.

They  have been in the studio recording music for their anticipated 3rd studio LP.  They went on a tour across the United States.  During the tour is when things began to take a torn for the worst.  First Aundrea Fimbres announced she was not going to continue on with Danity Kane because she wanted to start a family.  Next Danity Kane released a comeback single "Lemonade" featuring Tyga, which had great initial buzz but fizzled off after a video and promo didn't help push the potential Urban summer hit.  Following the tour in early August an altercation broke out in a studio/meeting session when Dawn Richard allegedly punched Aubrey O'Day unprovoked in the back of her head.  Then once again Danity Kane AKA DK3, officially broke up.

Fans were left in awe at the girls for continuously promoting sisterhood, women respect, ladies coming together,  and overall love for eachother only to let an argument turn physical and ruin the business the three ladies worked so hard to create once again.

Out of nowhere Aubrey and Shannon Bex released a video on Instagram confirmed since the fans never gave up they didn't either and that an album would be released for the fans as a gift.  Which is a bit odd, because its a gift in which fans will have to pay for.  Oxymoron.

After a long hiatus I am back.  Will try to keep this up.  Here it goes!

VW Jetta Key Stuck In Ignition Problem [Solved]!

So I am not a part of one of those car blogging problem/answer sites so I figured I'd blog about my findings so that I could potential help another Google or Internet user who found themselves in the same trouble I was in.

So I came home from work and atemped to turn of my 2000-2005 style VW Jetta.  Only to find the key would NOT release from the off position. Eeeeeek, I was panicking because I work the next few days. Don't wanna miss out on hours and spend a fortune!

To make a long story short, I tried various things people on Google searches sites said to do.  Didn't work.  BUT with the idea of a friend from back home along with help from my sister, combined with the idea of a Google search.  ALL was fixed!

New Music [Well Sort Of]: Enrique Iglesias & Jennifer Lopez "Mouth2Mouth"

After his re-emergence to the Pop music scene back in 2010 thanks to hits featuring Pitbull ["I Like It"] and Ludacris ["Tonight (I'm Fuckin' You)"] who else could Enrique Iglesias have worked with to continue his string of perfectly crafted Pop hits?  No one else but the queen of Latin Dance Pop music, Jennifer Lopez, is who! Check out their somewhat new* song "Mouth2Mouth" below!

Who Should The X Factor US Panel Cast?

Seeing as how X Factor US has seen nearly all of the staring panelist/cast fired... The question arises, who should replace Steve Jones as host, and Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger as judges/mentors?  But first, lets take a look at some names that have been floating around who probably should not become a part of the singing competition's panel.

Anybody who currently is experiencing the height of their popularity, should all be ruled out.  There is no need to risk joining the show and stopping your current streak.  So that takes out artists like Katy Perry (who although would be a great judge-she's currently way too successful), Rihanna (way too young to be tied down to a show that could affect her top of the pops standing), and even Beyonce (though her music career is sagging, she is still in her prime). Now for those who'd make great X Factor Judges!

The X Factor US Panelist Massacre!

So after a super lukewarm debut season, of The X Factor US, Simon Cowel decided to make some major changes.  Apparently Cowel wasn't as OK with the average 12 million weekly audience, as he led on.  Prior to the shows debut, Cowel actually had hopes for the show to have ratings in the 20 million range.  Well that did not happen.

So Cowel has decided to let go not one or two, but three members of the starring staff, so far!  It doesn't seem too surprising that the host, Steve Jones got the boot.  After all throughout the entire season Jones struggled to show any sympathy to exiting contestants [remember after Lakoda Rayne was voted off, he responded with: how does it feel now that your dreams are over?], being really stiff, and repeatedly cutting off the judges critiques in a rude manner. 

Next up on the chopping block, no one other than the former supposed to be co-host, turned Cheryl Cole replacement judge Nicole Scherzinger.  After all, why was Scherzinger a judge in the first place?  Seriously on paper her only true successes includes her short lived stint as the PussyCat Dolls only lead singer.  Her solo career has never been able to take off in the U.S.  And if we're counting X Factor US marks Scherzinger's 4th competition reality show [Pop Stars, Dancing With The Stars, The Sing Off, X Factor US]. 

Now for the final and probably most shocking departure...no one other than Cowel's former American Idol co-panelist Paula Abdul!  Seems kind of odd right, Simon did bring her onto the X Factor in the first place.  My guess as to why she left...  Bringing back the old Idol chemistry they had, that viewers loved-simply wasn't there like it used to be.  Though Cowel has openly stated he will soon work again with Abdul in the future.  So at least she is leaving on good terms with him, or is she?

That leaves only Simon and L.A. Reid as judge.  Wondering why Reid didn't get the boot?  Well Reid did recently become the new A&R of the restructured Epic Records, so who knows... maybe Cowel sees Reid's appointment at Epic Records as another option for X Factor contestants to potentially get signed to.  That's smart!

Guess the early on replaced Cheryl Cole may have had the last laugh... seeing as how her replacement was fired-she obviously didn't out perform her!

New Tune: "My Moment"

She strikes again!  And not just as a cameo feature in a music video [see Katy Perry's epic "Last Friday Night (TGIF)" video]!  The now 14 year old Rebecca Black is back once again with a new song, called "My Moment."  Black sent the YouTube world ablaze with her viral video "Friday" which has since been pulled from YouTube due to copyright issues after reaching over 165 million views.  Have no fear she is back with a new song, where she is ready to tell the world it is her moment, and she's ready to grab it.  Check out the video below!

LMFAO continues to "Party" atop the Billboard Hot 100 this week!  Along with them holding onto their position, ALL songs in the Top 6 from last week are holding onto their positions as well!  So that means no fifth consecutive # 1 for Katy Perry's "Friday" yet, nor rebounds from former #1's by Adele or Pitbull.  Gaga is still trying to edge her way back into the charts upper tier.  "Glory" peaked at number 3 upon its digital release, but hasn't proved to have enough steam to give Gaga another # 1 single as its decreasing on the iTunes Top singles chart as well!  While "Super Bass" is still trying to become Minaj's first # 1 single.  Last weeks bottom three positions each move up a position: Lil Wayne's "Love" (8-7), OneRepublic with "Good Life" (9-8), and Hot Chelle Rae's "Tonight Tonight," (10-9).  Which forces Perry's second Top 10 entry, former # 1 "E.T.", to fall 7-10 in it's 22nd chart week.

Throwback Tune: "Back That Azz Up"

Back in the late 1990s Cash Money's biggest artist wasn't Lil Wayne, instead it was his labelmate Juvenile.  His 1999 hit single "Back That Azz Up" (edited as "Back That Thang Up") managed to peak at number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and even featured a pint sized Lil Wayne and along with Mannie Fresh on the track.  "Back That," was released as the second single from his now 4x platinum 1998 album 400 Degreez.

Take a listen to the song, you'll definitely remember it, and you may even be surprised that Lil Wayne was featured until he pops up rapping his verse near the songs outro.  Wayne even shouts out "CMB make you drop it like its hot," in reference to Cash Money Billionaires, which Wayne currently reps as YMCMB-Young Money Cash Money Billionaires, in relation to the Young Money Entertainment imprint.

Jennifer Lopez Announcement Monday

Jennifer Lopez is set to hit NBC's The Today Show, this Monday to make an announcement with iHeartRadio.  Hmmm, seems like the announcement would be in regards to her plans for 2012, right? (Lets hope the announcement isn't something minor in relation to iHeart Radio!)  Which most likely would be rejoining Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler on the 11th season judging panel of American Idol, or who knows, maybe a tour?  Well we will have to wait and see on Monday.  Although with NBC's The Voice becoming such a big hit, wouldn't it make an announcement in regards to Idol, whether staying on or leaving, seem kind of out of place?

Well, in other Jennifer Lopez news, while Lopez was on HSN to promote her new fragrance, it was announced that the Latin tinged dance tune "Papi" will serve as the official third single for her new album Love?.  Also with the possibility of a dual fourth single being released at the same time.  Bring us a super hot video for "Papi," Jen!  What do you think JLo's official announcement will be?  Are you feeling "Papi" as a single?  Drop a comment below!
